Magnesium Alloy, Extrusions — Alloy AZ61A

Alloy AZ61A-F are used for welding wrought base materials of similar composition. It possesses good weldability during ambient use when applied to wrought base materials. It is a general purpose magnesium alloy which is both arc and gas weldable. AZ61A has a higher tensile strength and superior corrosion resistance compared to AZ61B-F. It is possible to perform various finishings on its surface.

QE22A is a strong, silvery-white, light-weight metal that tarnishes slightly when exposed to air. QE22A alloy is a casting alloy having excellent tensile, fatigue and creep properties at elevated and room temperatures. It is weldable and pressure tight.
