INCONEL® Filler Metal 72
INCONEL® Filler Metal 72 is typically used for the gas-tungsten-arc welding of INCONEL® 671 cladding on INCO-CLAD® 671/800HT Clad Tubing. INCONEL® Filler Metal 72 is also used for the overlaying of carbon steels and stainless steels to provide a nickel-chromium alloy corrosion resistant surface. The high chromium level provides excellenty resistance to high temperature corrosion, including fuel-ash atmospheres containing sulfur and vanadium.
