INCONEL® Welding Electrode 116 is recommended for the welding of steels that will be used in cryogenic applications. It can be used with alternating current (AC) when magnetic arc blow is encountered. The electrode has excellent weldability in all positions. It is ideal for many dissimilar metal applications, especially where carbon steels are joined to stainless steels and to Nickel-based alloys.
